Davisburg Antique Festival
The Davisburg Antique Market is at Springfield Oaks County Park on Saturday and Sunday. This is the largest antique festival in southeast Michigan, and admission is $10. You can buy tickets online or at the door. Saturday, May 3, hours are 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. Sunday, May 4, hours are from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
60th Annual Cinco de Mayo Parade
On Sunday, May 4, southwest Detroit will host a 2.4-mile parade honoring the Battle of Puebla, fought on May 5, 1862, under Mexican President Benito Juárez. His legacy of resilience, freedom, and national pride continues to inspire generations. The parade will begin at Patton Park (Woodmere St. & Vernor Hwy.) and conclude at Clark Park (Scotten St. & Vernor Hwy.). The parade kicks off at noon.
Hamtramck Night Bazaar
The Hamtramck Night Bazaar is Saturday, May 3, from 4-6 p.m. at Pope Park and features vendors from vintage clothes to food trucks.
The Heidelberg Project Birthday Bash and Fundraiser
The Heidelberg Project Birthday Bash and Fundraiser is at Spot Lite Detroit on Saturday at 7 p.m. Tickets are available in advance online around $23. The line up is as follows: Kenjiro (PGS), Liz Warner (WDET), Shigeto (PGS, WDET), Turtle Bugg (Peoples Record), and Waajeed (UMA, WDET).
